B. RICH does Europe...

"B. Rich is about to hit the UK and Europe for his first overseas tour. To kick it off he is giving out this free EP where the heavier side of his production shows through. The EP is rounded off with 3 extreme remixes by DZ, J. Rabbit and HavocNdeeD, resulting in a seriously heavy and diverse collection. This release is a must have for fans of Dubstep, Drum and Bass, or Heavy Bass."

This Friday...

On Friday we celebrate the end of exams, end of January (notoriously the worst month of the year) and pay day, in true style with a full on line up at Trouble Vision. But wait...

First we have the warm up at Superfilth which is held at 93Ft East with one of our favourite house producers at the minute, The Living Graham Bond. Many should recognise this name as we've been pushing him for a while now. It's free and therefore, if you live in London, there's no excuse to miss out on the opportunity to hear him smashing that booming Funktion 1 system. Here's one of his new ones which he let out a couple of weeks ago.

Everything Bad Is Good For You (TLGB Remix) - Kidda

If you missed the last posts I've collected all the tracks together to save you searching.

Make Me Dance (TLGB Remix) - B. Rich [RUDEEE]

Hello! (TLGB Remix) - AC Slater

You're Not Alone (TLGB Remix) - Olive

Music Sounds Better With You (TLGB Remix) - Stardust

Tonight's Today (TLGB Remix) - Jack Penate

If you want to know about his release "Incredibly Soft EP", check the here. There's another EP coming soon...

Introducing FLOP HAUS

So there’s Zinc with his Crack House, now look, DZ is also on the house tip. I was intrigued as to where that name came from so asked the man himself...

"It's a lil sub-genre name - I know I don't make house, so I just called it 'FlopHaus'. I was in Ottawa - was always messy round 5pm on a Sunday. I get drunk and build house. Feels stupid where it originates from but 'haus' sounds geigh so I love it. Lol"

Not to do with stuff flopping? Dubstep flopping, you flopping to house music etc?!

"None man. Sooooooo many tunes bout to come out, there’ll be lots more on the blogs as well – Teddy’s making that happen for me now, well stoked he’s on board. I'm flopping to 4/4... haha"

So that was that. Nothing deep about it, just fancied a bit of a change on a Sunday. Some say the truth comes out when you're pissed...! Back to the point, here are the tunes. Bouncy drum beats with some nice whirring, grinding bass lines. Check them and stick em in your sets and mixtapes...

Asian Cuddle Puddle – DZ & Redeyz
Game Over - DZ
Drop Top – DZ

Now for those who prefer the Dubstep biz here’s a few new ones from the badman camp. The two remixes are nuts, haven’t got my head round them yet! This though, has Fugees vocals, and it’s a whole different story. Personal preference though innit.

Next – DZ [RUDEEE]

Keep Me Hangin On (DZ Remix) – The Supremes
Need You (DZ Remix) – Dylan & Ink

The Wu-Tang remix album was recently out, I think, and he’s got a couple of tracks on there so go hunt that down, think it’s on Amazon at least.

Sunday

Pirate that system...

Pirate Soundsystem have been up there with my favourite producers for a good couple of years now and I’m always excited to hear new stuff from them. The new stuff this time is an EP coming out in a couple of weeks on Coin Operated Records who have had the likes of Kanji Kinetic, L-Vis 1990, Squire of Gothos to name just a few. The EP is titled “Trip II London” which has four tracks, each to a different style but all based around ravey samples and big basslines. Ideal. It’s only a vinyl release at the moment but hopefully that’ll change.

The first track is an updated version of their Si Begg remix which we featured in this post - there’s an interview there too for those who don’t know. It’s been mastered and the bassline fattened up to make it an even bigger banger than before. They’ve treated you readers well, again, by making you the first on the internet to have this track, it’s got samples from a few tunes but mainly Tiga’s Mind Dimension. Enjoy.

01. Trip II London
02. Get Your Heads Out
03. Think I’m Ready
04. My Dimension

Make sure all you twitterers go follow them at http://twitter.com/piratesoundsys for updates and stuff.

Incredibly Soft EP

I’ve been keeping my eye on The Living Graham Bond ever since he won AC Slater’s Hello remix competition back towards the start of the year. His unique, fresh, bassliney jackin’ house style has caught my attention and I’m getting quite addicted his tunes.

Firstly, I’ve had his B Rich remix on repeat on the myspace player for the last couple of months – it slipped under my radar that Palmsout had announced the winners of the competition. This came a very graceful second and I’m very happy to be able to share it with you lot. That hook in there, well… it just makes me want to dance. Get it on repeat (and loud) and you’ll see what I mean. I need an extended version!

Make Me Dance (TLGB Remix) – B.Rich [RUDEEE]

After a busy few months not just with his production but some big bookings too, he is properly set to break into the big game with his debut EP on Venga Digital. “Incredibly Soft” is the title track and my favourite on the release. Clever vocals, chopped to perfection with innovative drum patterns, progression and breaks. The bouncy basslines make a perfect accompaniment to give a fresh blend of Fake Blood crossed with Mowgli - each tune has a well thought-out structure and rhythmic feel.

"Great songs. Excellent productions and nice and quirky. Love all the little vocal samples. Gets my support." - Lee Mortimer

"Nom De Strip remix is a rockin mix" - Malente

"Nom De Strip Remix = SICK DROP SICK DROP SICK DROP" - Mightyfools

"Great EP, all tracks are wicked. Production spot on, nice remix from Chris aswell :)" - Calvertron

"Nice solid EP. Good work." - AC Slater

For more previews of the release check here but if you want something in length then don’t miss out on this mix. You can catch TLGB DJing at Corsica Studios this Thursday (29th October) or at The Egg for the launch party on the 6th November.

DOWNLOAD: Incredibly Soft Mixtape

01. Tonka - Jack Track (TLGB’s Little Fiddle)
02. TLGB - Incredibly Soft
03. Savage Skulls - Flabanco
04. Renaissance Man – Canto Della Kalimba (Bootcut Edit)
05. TLGB - Drinkies
06. Drums Of Death - Got Yr Thing (Jesse Rose & Oliver $ Dub)
07. Brodinski & Mumdance - Eurostarr (Zombie Disco Squad Remix)
08. TLGB - Ransom
09. Tim Green - Revox (Justin Martin Remix)

Definitely a talent with oozing potential – watch out for his name plastered everywhere not too soon in the future. The rest of his free tracks are in this post.

(My laptop is not in working order so I’m sorry for the scarce posts)

Jack that beat...

Been busy innit. Sorry!

Haven't posted any of this kinda music for a while - it's good to have a break and slow the bpm sometimes. Been waiting for this to drop - definitely my favourite Jack Beats tune of late.

Drumming Song (Jack Beats Remix) - Florence & The Machine

Have posted a couple of tracks by these guys before - GreenMoney are innovative and exciting producers who deserve to be getting more hype than they are.

Baltic Pine (GreenMoney's Baltic Porn Bootleg) - Boy 8-Bit
Tie Me Down (GreenMoney Dub) - Sibley

We featured Raffertie back here but he's been all over the place this year and next year I'm sure will see plenty more gigs and plenty more good productions. His sound is definitely maturing, when I first heard one of his tunes (I think it was a Rihanna remix about 2 years ago) it was the weirdest thing I'd heard and I hated it! Big sound on this one...

Dancing On Our Tongues (Raffertie Remix) - Wild Beasts

I don't rate Drums of Death but with a little bit of Starkey's reworking this track is listenable now. I'm sure this will appeal to a few of you out there.

Got Yr Thing (Starkey Remix) - Drums of Death

This dropped in our inbox a while ago so I reckon it might be old news for a few of you but those who haven't stumbled across it, Udachi & Jubilee's Paypur EP has some big tracks on it (Smoke Rings) so get over here and spend those pennies.

Paypur - Udachi & Jubilee
Bitchy Skills (Udachi Remix) - Costello

Lastly, big tune from AC Slater - can he do no wrong?!

100mph (AC Slater Remix) - Juiceboxxx [RUDEEE]

All those waiting for posts who I've said I'd post - just send a reminder email. All those people who haven't had a reply - keep producing and get in touch in a few months.

Anyone still after a t-shirt but the size is sold out? Email us - if there's enough response we'll get some more done. There's been quite a bit interest in the jumpers? You seen them about?!

Tuesday

Florence & The Boy

The third single to be taken from Florence & The Machine's stellar debut album 'Lungs' is the highly charged ‘Drumming Song’, out September 7th on Island Records. A song fuelled by unadulterated passion, desire and fear of the unknown when it comes to falling in (and out) of love.

Wasn't expecting this track to be available to share but here we have Boy 8-Bit's huge room version. As usual everything done tip top.

Drumming Song (Boy 8-Bit Remix) - Florence & The Machine [RUDEEE]

Couple of producers from London, GreenMoney, bringing something fresh to our ears combined with top notch production. I refuse to call this genre of music "Funky", saying that I wish I hadn't given into the "Fidget" ballshit! New header and tags needed, oh well, enjoy...

Purdy (GreenMoney Dub) - William Orbit

Jack Beats wobble getting boring? Yeh I reckon...

I'm Not Your Toy (Jack Beats Remix) - La Roux

Look out for Jack Beats remix of Florence, that one's better.

Friday

Nearly the weekend...

HARDFEST
8th AUGUST 2009

I haven't been listening to this kinda music very much recently but after tapping my feet to these wobbles for the last half hour, it's reminded me that when it's done properly, I love it! Jack Beats deliver a top mix here full of big room sounds. Hope you're all looking forward to their debut EP which is released on the 3rd August. Hopefully this will then be followed by their remix of the very well known "Mars". Big up to the Wizards for the heads up on this one, they're on fire at the moment.

Cop this now. Nuff said.

Wednesday

Time for some...

I know the posts have been pretty scarce this month, not really sure why. Too much going out n stuff maybe. This should make up for it though. Lotsa tunes for you to party to, chill to, mix with, lose your mind to and generally do what you normally do with music. Listen and enjoy? Yeh that's what most people do.

First I have a couple of tunes which follow in the footsteps of Enigma's remix of Imogen Heap which seemed to go down so well. That track has been spread across the internet and had lotsa love all round so here's a couple more.

Ha Ha (Bassleak Remix) - Emiliana Torrini [youtube]
Headlock (PK Bootleg) - Imogen Heap
Lost - Slof Man [RUDEEE]

What's happened to all proper beats and heavy shit, it's been replaced by melodies and female vocals you might be thinking. Yeh, well, that's just what I'm in the mood for at the moment. For those that are pining for the other stuff... here you are. Two new producers with some filth.

Fail - Druley
Waking Up On Cloud 9 - Billy

This one take's a little while to drop but when it does, can imagine it to be pretty alright on a big system.

Callous - DZ & Redeyz

Saw Gentleman's Dub Club the other day and they were really impressive, as someone's said before, I'd have them play at my wedding. We heard from HavocNdeeD back in this post. This ones on the Dub Reggae tip, I dig lots.

Exodus (HavocNdeeD Remix) - Bob Marley

Zinc's been in the House game for a little while now. His latest Crack House mix has just come out which you can pick up here. This track has been released as part of the build up to Rinse's 15th Birthday. Not sure about the lyrics but nevermind.

All Your Base (Feat. Aloe Blacc) - Zinc

Now on the electro ish front, got a new one from one of our favourites, Foamo and another not so new from another favourite Stupid Fresh. Get the fuck up.

I'm In Love (Foamo Remix) - Dub Pistols
Twist (Stupid Fresh Remix) - Shab Ruffcut

And lastly, not sure how well this one will go down round this parts as it's the first of it's kind that I've posted. Anyone feeling this new Funky biz? I'm not so sure about it yet but this track is alright nonetheless. I'm so fly I feel like I'm skydiving. Quite catchy.

Skydiving (GreenMoney In Tha Sky Remix) - Twizzle

BONUS: Killin It - B Rich

Monday

Party and bullshit...

So I haven't posted properly for a week, bad huh?! Nevermind. (Not that the Boogaloo post doesn't count a proper post). There's been way more exciting stuff going on. Now, we've a fair amount of Dubstep recently so I've decided I think a little break is necessary. To start with we have a couple of bouncy tracks from the well known Rogue Element and Hostage.

Soundboy - Hostage
Medicine (The Rogue Element Remix) - Cagedbaby

Found this the other day by complete accident but this just empahsises to me why I rate Zombie Disco Squad a lot. Simple but effective. Are you a jacker?

Banton Boot - Zombie Disco Squad

This tune, well, Kidda is just sick. But... you'll all remember Herve's remix of their Under The Sun from last summer, this could be the replacement. HeavyFeet on point as usual. Unfortunately it's not the full track but you'll get the idea. Reckon it's getting a release or summink.

Strong Together (Heavyfeet Remix) - Kidda
This Time (Heavyfeet Remix) - DJ Antoine

And the last of this Electronic kinda stuff, these two are proper party tunes. NROTB remix is well put together, rolling bassline, ravey riffs and good use of the original vocals while the Blatta & Inesha remix is faster paced but still stuffed full of the ravey riffs. Rampage's War EP is now out on Beatport so go check the rest of it.

Hey You (NROTB Remix) - Pony Pony Run Run
War (Blatta & Inesha Remix) - Rampage

Zodiac Cartel's DJing and production doesn't fail to impress and think this might be my favourite Bulletproof remix.

L.E.S Artistes (Zodiac Cartel Remix) - Santigold
Bulletproof (Midfield General Remix) - La Roux

No Dubstep? Well, you might wanna pick up this up if you haven't already. More fresh sounds from Joker.

Everything Up (Joker & Ginz Remix) - Zero 7

You can now buy the two Boogaloo tracks which I posted about below here.

Tuesday

LORCAN MAK

Time for a few words with the rising star Lorcan Mak who's been causing a stir with his long build ups, fidgetty wobbles and super bouncy jackin' rhythms.

Irish, born and bred?

I am indeed. I was born in the Rotunda Hospital in Parnell Sqr, and went to an all Irish Speaking School called Colaiste Mhuire which was situated in Dublins Inner city. I am fleunt in Gaelic, which is very important to me and I'm very gratefull to have the ability to speak my native tongue, especially in todays multi cultural society.

What's the music scene like there?

I dont think there really is a proper "scene" over here at the moment. Theres not really enough people into electronic music in Dublin. I suppose you could say theres a small "scene". Most of the people who attend any of the House/Tech/Electro nights around Dublin would know or at least know of each other, that's how small the "scene" is. The clubs and nights are not really up to scratch in comparison to London and other European capital cities, but there are whopper nights on now and again. Our population is not that big so maybe thats one of the reasons why theres not much of a "scene". I think there's a lot more people in Ireland into Indy and Rock and the likes...

Favourite producer at the moment?

Probably HiJack. Im all about silly sampling....jacking house. I'm really into what he's doing at the moment. Shocking. Basic.

Gypsy Bum's just had a release. Where did the name come from?

I just thought it suited the track, also thought it was funny. Here's a fresh remix I've just got from my mate CitiZen Black which I think you should post.

Gypsy Bum
Gypsy Bum (CitiZen Black Remix)

I think it's a sweet track name! What's planned for the next release?

I'm currently working on my debut EP, which is coming along. I still have a lot to get finished though. I would like to have it done before the end of the summer. I am also working on some stuff with fellow Dublin head Detboi at the moment, hopefully get an EP done. We have some mad stuff planned and its going well so far.

You going to any festivals this summer?

Yeh I'm planning to head to Global Gathering this year. I went last year for the first time and it was SICK! I also will be heading to the next two big festivals over here in Ireland "Oxegen" and "Electric Picnic" and I also should be hitting "Airbound Festival" in Croatia too. Looking forward to 'em all cant wait...

What have you got for the readers?

Heres my last mix...

15. Hatiras, MC Flipside - Get Blahsted (Will Bailey Remix)
16. Skynet UK - Back To 89 (Calvertron Remix)

Thank you for your time. I had a listen through the mix and had my feet jiggling all the way through! Has the same vibes as a Bass Kleph mix, big and bouncy. I'm sure you'll be seeing this name a lot more in the next few months... check the myspace for what's coming!

Monday

Summer's coming...

So I finish my exams on Wednesday, which is an excellent thing as Corsica Studios on Thursday is going to be wicked good fun. I haven't done very much work for them, considering they're retakes you would have thought I'd learn but it seems I haven't. Nevermind! Anyways I know you've all been waiting patiently...

I think this may have slipped under the radar... always room for a bit of Fake Blood in my iTunes. He needs to put out a few more tunes though - is the trouble with playing shit loadsa dates.

Animal (Fake Blood Remix) - Miike Snow
Animal (Crookers Remix) - Miike Snow

A1 Bassline is at the top of the game when it comes to remixing. I reckon he can remix a song in a night and get it pretty much spot on. Get the feeling he knows exactly what he's doing. Also, his Summer Mixtape has jus dropped on Palms Out so head over there and pick it up. Been waiting for this one since I saw it on a mix a while ago. Andy George's remix has sposed to be coming out for ages, no sign of it yet though.

Chin Up (A1 Bassline Remix) - Rochelle
Chin Up (Andy George Remix) - Rochelle

Nadastrom are still on top form. This tune has huge vibes. I wanna hear it on Fabric's room 1 system! Back to the middle and round again.

Juke Dat Girl (Nadastrom Remix) - DJ Gant-Man

More thumping beats from Cold Blank, this time remixing the sound of summer 2007. Well maybe bit before that but I saw Does It Offend You, Yeah? at Reading 07. They were one of the only bands I watched and they were fucking sick!

We Are Rockstars (Cold Blank Remix) - Does It Offend You, Yeah?

I think the Dead Fish crew are gonna takeover these coming months if they keep up this biz. This track's been getting Crookers love and quite rightly too. Bounce now.

Love Story (Solo Bootyleg) - Layo & Bushwacka!

We haven't had any breaks around here for a while, or at least at all. You may say it's dead but... this is a lovely tune. Whatever type of music you're into, you should appreciate this!

City Life - Bruno Neto

I'm sure I've heard this tune before so maybe it's been around a while or summink but one things for sure, this is a summer party tune!

Beautiful Shadow (Santiago & Bushido Remix) - Prarie Cartel

And lastly, this tune is coming out sometime soon. Mixed reaction so far. After having a few more listens, I've decided I like it but only after 3min40. Therefore the build up is way too long and the good stuff doesn't last long enough! Head over to the facebook page and tell us what you think. Do you hate it?

Supernova (Doorly Remix) - Mr Hudson & Kanye West

That was gonna be the last one but, this one's growing on me. Bonus!

Boyz (Dub & Run) - M.I.A

Cheeky little interview up tomorrow and brand spanking new mix soon. Hold tight!

Tuesday

Put some jelly on that roll...

Big up to Udachi for giving us the heads up on this one, been waiting for this track to drop for ages and ages. It's maaad! Go get it and you'll definitely want some jelly on that roll. This track is gonna destroy the system!

Jellyroll - Udachi [RUDEEE]

I didn't want this to be another update but looks like it's your lucky day. Hostage has been chucking out the tracks recently and I think some of them have been a bit iffy. This one however is a different story. Full to the brim of bouncy wobbly vibes.

Special Brew - Hostage

I wish I was a little bit taller... I've been saying this for a while. It's not gonna happen though. Didn't think there would be a decent remix of the song either but this one is a gooden.

I Wish (Audiostalkers Remix) - Skeelo

Seems like I missed out on this one but picked it up after listening to Forensics latest mixtape (which is very good). Larry Tee's had some heavy bassline treatment.

Hipster Girl (Evol Intent Remix) - Larry Tee

Lastly, Stereoheroes have been really impressing me lately. It's kinda electro infused fidget but really tuneful and catchy at the same time. Check it...

Hey You (Stereoheroes Remix) - Pony Pony Run Run

More Introducing posts to come within the next sun-down. Stay safe.

Friday

Amusing news...

I have only just discovered these two but have been very impressed with the stuff they’re putting out. I came across them as they have a release called “Girls Love Bass” with a few tasty remixes which came out last month. It’s not on Beatport but can be found at all the other main ones. They seemed to have had a bit of trouble recently and here's the low down...

DAVID GUETTA BULLIES THE SQUATTERS!!

Early last week The Squatters received an urgent letter from Paris. This was not good news - big shot David Guetta had got wind of their independently run record label, Hug Me I’m Homeless. This happened when the house music enthusiast received a promo from the label through its online distribution system. Mr Guetta was not happy about the branding and name Hug Me I’m Homeless as it had a similar appearance and name to his own F*** Me I’m Famous brand. Action was then taken against The Squatters and a solicitor’s letter was issued. Mr Guetta's solicitors pointed out that Mr & Mrs Guetta were very upset about this and that if no action was taken towards changing the name, or irradiating the label, matters would be taken further.

Mr Guetta’s solicitors outlined that the Squatters had broken copyright laws by committing the following:

  • the logotype used shares lots of similarities with our clients’ one, such as the same calligraphy

  • the same presentation of the denomination on two different lines and with the same proportions

  • the presence of an exclamation mark at the end of your denomination

  • the use of three stars in place of three letters

  • the use of red, black and white
As well as being accused of this, Mr Guetta's solicitor also stated that:

“We think that you are clearly taking advantage of our clients’ reputation and private rights to make undue profit, to the detriment of our clients. In fact, these dealings are constitutive of infringement of our clients’ prior trademarks, injury to our clients’ reputation and public image, unfair competition and parasitism, unjustified prejudice for our clients”.

As a response to this they have had to make all possible efforts to delete any traces of the Hug Me Im Homeless brand and have renamed their label to something that has no relevance to Guetta Events and that could not be confused with the F*** Me Im Famous brand. They have also had to publish a statement requested by Mr Guetta’s solicitors to clear up confusion between the brands:

“In order to respect the IP rights of Guetta Events, representing Cathy and David Guetta, we have changed the name of our label to POOMF! Records. Our label does not have any link with Cathy and/or David Guetta. F*** ME I’M FAMOUS is a registered trademark belonging to GUETTA EVENTS”.

The Squatters have made all efforts possible to resolve problem and apologise for any inconveniences or sleepless nights caused by their actions. All they can say now is “POOMF!!... Hug Me I’m Homeless has gone!”

Blow Ya Mind (The Squatters Remix) - Lock & Load

Everybody In The Place (The Squatters Remix) – The Prodigy

There are many other tracks available on Beatport so go get em - this is their latest:

Wednesday

FOAMO IS BACK!

It's official. After being off the production for a while due to lots of dates (I think) he's back and right on form! Don't need any other information, other than he's definitely one of my favourite producers. I've been waiting for these to drop and now they're here. That's made my Wednesday one of the best Wednesdays for a while.

Bulletproof (Foamo Remix) - La Roux
Bulletproof (Wookie Remix) - La Roux

London Town (Foamo Remix) - Man Like Me [RUDEEE]

Remember to check that new Doorly remix, you'll love it! More Dubstep biz sooooon.

Tuesday

MONSTROSITY!

FACEBOOK EVENT

That line up is not one to be missed! Get down to The Arches for a super good night. I've got exams so I can't make it but has anyone seen the line up for the Mad Decent party the week before? HUGE! I'll be at that one. Come visit!

Speaking of trouble, this track is one of the loveliest tracks I've heard for a while. Steady beat, bongo drums and a very very soothing voice. Marina has got competition! The Nadastrom boys have made it a little more of what we'd normally listen to, but... this blog is all about broadening your music taste and discovering new tracks/artists. That's the best thing about music! Well, I think so anyways...

Trouble Is A Friend (Eli Escobar Remix) - Lenka [RUDEEE]
Trouble Is A Friend (Nadastrom Remix) - Lenka

Hostage has delivered once again, and this time it's for all the people associated with this blog. Ha. Dubby Clubsteppy stuff. Check the Saxon rip off vocals.

Rudeboys - Hostage

Evil Nine has come out of hiding and it's clear he's been in the darkness. This a deep rocky track but with a kinda poppy Calvin Harrisy twist on it - don't let this put you off, there's not that much resemblance! It's nicely produced and makes a change to the listening to all the samey stuff. Also just incase you missed this splendid squelchy screetchy remix of They Live!

Icicles (Evil Nine's Graveyard Smash) - Evil Nine
They Live! (Felix Cartal Remix) - Evil Nine

Back to usual whirring kinda fidgetty stuff. Larry Tee's had the makeover by the ever growing Mom & Dad. Seems like it was only the other day I was listening to his demo stuff. I think he's had a couple of releases already.

My Pussy (Mom & Dad Remix) - Larry Tee

Haven't heard a new Bird Peterson track for a while but that doesn't matter cos it's worth the wait. Apparently he didn't like music until he heard his own...! I don't know what that says about his personality but that doesn't matter. This has a bit of a Fake Bloody bassline when it drops. Nah mean. Can't wait to see Fake Blood, been waiting a while now. 2 weeks. Yeh.

Skeletons (Bird Peterson Remix) - Felix Cartal

Now we all know Blatta & Inesha from this post and also for being straight up Sicilian brilliance so I thought I'd update you with the latest tracks. AC Slater named them in his top artists in a sick interview over at Rub-A-Dub-Dubbb. Check it.

Blatta & Inesha Update

Another update for your ears, I've been holding these tracks in for a super post and here's exactly the right time for it! I know some of you may have picked some of them up already but I thought it'd be easiest to stick em all together, just delete the ones you already have! I've been picking up his tunes for nearly a year n half now and he's come a super long way. Pretty much every track he comes out with now is top notch! Also check back for an introduction to what the other half of Partyshank is up to these days. It's good I promise!

A1 Bassline Update [RUDEEE]

If that's not enough for you, check Palms Out for their latest release which includes another lovely Doorly remix (which you should all go and buy the 320 of cos I'm going to) and some more from A1 Bassline. And anyone remember this from back in the day of Remix Sunday? Sick bassline.

Never Before (Zombie Disco Squad) - Ghost Frequency

Sorry there are no links in but that's the thing which takes the longest with a post. If you need a myspace or some more info on an artist, Google's your friend!

Monday

I gotta bounce it on my head...

Mark Daniels who is one half of Daphutur DJs has sent over this bunch of tracks and they definitely stand out from the rest of the emails we get. Note to anyone who is thinking about sending us music or has already but hasn't seen a post or a reply - we get a fair few emails and not all can be replied to, I'm sorry! Please take the time to make sure that your tunes are to the highest standard possible! Most producers trying to get their name out there rush tracks and you can straight away tell a track that has had time and effort put into it - remember this!

Anyways back to the main point. These guys are making a noise out of Edmonton, Canada and from having a quick look at their myspace seem to be definitely at the forefront of the local party scene. They've started producing some tunes themselves and you can hear a variety of influences coming through - Boy 8-Bit ish, perhaps a bit of Crookers and maybe a little Blatta & Inesha. We hope there's more to come, think there's a lot of potential here but in the meantime, these need checking.

Hot For Pop - Daphutur [RUDEEE]
Play or Get Played - Phatcat & Mark Daniels
Get Yur Fuk On (Degree & Daniels Bootleg Remix) - Wong Boys
Gumball Machine Weekend (Mark Daniels Remix) - Yppah

(I may have messed up the names in iTunes so change them to how they're written here, and also it seems I left the artwork out - stick that in too if it makes a difference to you!)
